2019 Symposium

This annual event is an opportunity for voluntary agencies from across NY State to share best practices, new innovative services, staff development and training activities with their peers.  In addition, representatives from government agencies use the Symposium to launch new initiatives, share upcoming changes in regulations and survey practices.  Awards for Direct Service Professionals and Managers are presented during a special ceremony. We Want to Hear From You!

The NYSADSP 2019 Symposium Committee is seeking presentations on topics such as volunteer and work opportunities, community integration, autism services, individualized planning, innovative programming, services for specialized or challenging people being supported, promoting individual choice, personal future planning, quality assurance/quality improvement strategies, staff development, and best practices.
