2025 Symposium to be held at 

 the Hilton Saratoga

  September 17th -September 19th. 

This annual event is an opportunity for voluntary agencies from across NY State to share best practices, new innovative services, staff development and training activities with their peers.  In addition, representatives from government agencies use the Symposium to launch new initiatives, share upcoming changes in regulations and survey practices.  Awards for Direct Service Professionals and Managers are presented during a special ceremony.




                                                             

2025 Call for Papers 

Do you have program techniques or creative ideas related to day services and the people we support? 
Submit your Call for Papers today and share your knowledge and expertise with your colleagues throughout NYS. 

We are looking for presentations on various topics inlcuding volunteer and work opportunities, autism, community inclusion, services provided for people who require increased support, individualized planning, promoting individual choice, innovative programming, personal future planning, employee retention, employee burnout, transportation challenges and ideas, quality assurance/quality improvement strategies, community habilitation, self-directed services,  staff development and leadership training, and other best practices.
